Meeting: First Lady Dominique Ouattara Meets with Nassénéba Touré
First Lady Dominique Ouattara received Nassénéba Touré, Minister for Family, Women, and Children, at her offices in Cocody on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.
Ms. Touré came with Bakary Diaby, CEO of SOGUIBEC of the Republic of Guinea.
The discussions focused primarily on preparations for the upcoming Children of Africa Foundation Gala Dinner.
A committed member of the Foundation from its inception, Minister Nassénéba Touré met with the Founding President to discuss the organization of this major solidarity event, scheduled for next October.
Following the meeting, Ms. Nassénéba Touré expressed how happy she was and reiterated her deep connection to this humanitarian work: “It is always a pleasure for me to meet with Her Excellency the First Lady, Dominique Ouattara. I have been a member of the Children of Africa Foundation for many years, long before she became First Lady. It was by her side that I learnt the meaning of sharing and the constant concern for helping the most vulnerable.”
As the countdown begins, efforts are intensifying to make this upcoming event a resounding success. “Today, we are just a few months away from the Foundation’s charity event in October. As a member, I have already started the preparations. I am firmly convinced that this event will be a brilliant success and will, once again, bring smiles to the faces of the most vulnerable,” the Minister stated.
This formal meeting is part of the ongoing mobilization around the work of Children of Africa. Since its inception, the Foundation has tirelessly pursued its commitment to improving the living conditions of vulnerable children and families throughout Côte d’Ivoire.
