Meeting

The First Lady Dominique Ouattara received members of the national office of the Rally of Republican Women (RFR), on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at her office in Cocody. It came at this meeting for Dr. Josephine Ouattara, President of women’s association to officially present its office to Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, RFR’s godmother. Taking this opportunity, Dr. Josephine Ouattara thanked the presidential couple for the work done to improve the living conditions of the Ivorians. Among others, she cited the improvement of security index, mobilization of resources for the creation of infrastructure, the movement of goods and people, the improvement of the living conditions of populations and many other actions were cited by Dr Josephine Ouattara. 

  

 She argued that all of these actions helped to revitalize the economy, but to also make Côte d’Ivoire an emerging country by 2020. She took this opportunity to reiterate the involvement of the women of the Rally of Republicans (RDR), the party that brought President Alassane Ouattara to power, to make any effort for the re-election of their candidate in the first round of upcoming presidential election. 

  

In return, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara thanked her sisters for this approach. "I do not do politics. I do differently, taking care of women and women ", said the First Lady to her guests. Reminding those great actions for the well-being of the populations, she insisted that the Support Fund for the Women of Côte d'Ivoire (FAFCI) was set up for all women without exception in the country. She encouraged RDR women to enroll in FAFCI.
