Mother-Child Hospital of Bingerville

The countdown has begun. This is a decisive step towards the realization of the Mother-Child Hospital of Bingerville under construction by the Children of Africa Foundation. This Wednesday, May 13 was held at the headquarters of the foundation two important events. First of all, the Constituent General Assembly of the Association for the Management of the Mother-Child Hospital of Bingerville. personally chaired by Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, President and foundress of Children of Africa, the founding members are personalities of various skills that share a passion to serve the vulnerable people. Unanimously, the founding members have adopted the organic and regulatory texts.

 

 Following this General Assembly, a Board of twelve members was established. It includes four components: the Foundation, the State of Côte d’Ivoire, the NGO “la Chaîne de l’Espoir”(the Chain of Hope) and other personalities. And the honor went to Urology Professor, Sega Sangaré, Chairman of the Board of Directors to be elected by his peers. During this first meeting of the Board of Directors, the General Director of this hospital was designated in the person of Marc Libessart (having a rich experience of hospital management) and Dr Daouda Kouyaté, a quality expert, CEO Deputy. "As you know, the Foundation initiated the project but did not want to manage this hospital, because it requires expertise in hospital, medical, scientific, organizational management. We want to sustain the health facility and make it effective, it was thus necessary to entrust it to the external and relevant people. We believe that we could gather in this honorary board, members who are distinguished personalities ", explained the President of the Foundation, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara.

Let’s note that the Mother-Child Hospital is scheduled to be delivered by end of the year.
