Rehabilitation of a parish in Divo
An act of charity and faith. Mrs. Dominique Ouattara offered on Sunday, 1 July 2012 in Divo, the sum of five (5) million FCFA to participate in the rehabilitation of the parish of Saint Pierre and Saint Paul of Divo. It was on the occasion of the third edition of the charity day organized by the Church of Saint Pierre and Saint Paul of Divo. For this edition, the faithful of this parish raised funds to complete the construction of their church. And to help themselves in this work of faith, they have chosen the First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara as the godmother of the ceremony. Unfortunately being absent from the country, the First Lady was represented by her advisor, Chantal Poaty, accompanied by a delegation of members of her cabinet. Despite her absence, the First Lady did not want to remain out on the sidelines of this act of faith. Thus, she offered 5 million CFA francs to participate in the building of this church. Speaking, Mrs. Chantal Poaty readily gave the reason that pushed Dominique Ouattara to accept godfathering this event. In fact, she said that as a Christian, the golden-hearted lady could not remain on the sidelines of the festival of charity. Also, the counselor of the First Lady has expressed fraternal greetings, solidarity and the latter's adherence to the various ceremonies which have furnished the ceremony. "(…) She asked me to reiterate to all women and men, parishioners, fraternal greetings, her solidarity and adherence to the various ceremonies which have furnished this time of sharing, worship, praise, fellowship and love, "revealed Ms. Chantal Poaty. For the latter, this festival symbolizes the reunion of brothers and sisters, but beyond that, brings the faithful Christians to take an active part in the work of God through the rehabilitation of the parish of Saint Pierre and Saint Paul of Divo. "(…) Also, to help you rehabilitate our church, the First Lady gives you the sum of five million CFA francs," said, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara’s representative through cheers.
