The First Lady, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, received a delegation from the Association of Wives of Presidents of Institutions and Ministers (ADEM) in audience at her office on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Led by its President, Mrs. Patricia Ahoussou Kouadio, and its Honorary President, Mrs. Amy Toungara, the association came to show its support for the wife of the Head of State through a significant sign of solidarity.
Taking the floor, Ms. Patricia Ahoussou Kouadio praised the First Lady’s social and humanitarian actions, before announcing a donation of five (5) million CFA francs to support her initiatives on behalf of the most vulnerable through the Children Of Africa Foundation. “You are an inspiring role model for us. We are following in your footsteps. (…) Your commitment to the people started long before you became First Lady. That is why we have come here today to reaffirm our support for you through this donation,” she said.
Moved by this show of solidarity, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara expressed her gratitude to ADEM members for their generosity and constant support for her various initiatives. She recalled that her humanitarian commitment dates back several years, well before President Alassane Ouattara’s accession to the highest office. The First Lady also shared her satisfaction with the success of the Bingerville Mother and Child Hospital, one of her Foundation’s flagship projects. “I consider the Bingerville Mother and Child Hospital to be a great success,” she said.
