After the aid to the population victims of floods in Abidjan caused by the torrential rains of June, the First Lady Dominique Ouattara did not wish to forget those inside the country. Thus during this tour of the heart, last Wednesday, July 16th, she promised them that she would support them after the trial they underwent. After a week, that wish became a reality. Indeed, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara dispatched, on Thursday, July 24th, 2014, a delegation of members of her cabinet, led by its Chief of Staff, Mrs. Patricia Yao Sylvie to provide support to the victims of torrential rains of the municipality of Fresco. The donation ceremony was held on the premises of Fresco sub-prefecture.

It is hands full of gifts that the delegation of the First Lady's office made the trip to Fresco. The delegation offered, on behalf of Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, in-kind donations valued at 20 million CFA francs and 1,000,000 in cash for the floods victims in the city. So she offered 5 tons of rice; 500 small bags of pasta; 50 cartons of sugar packs; 50 cartons of oilcans and 50 cartons of tomato pasta cans to the victims. In addition, she offered them food and non-pharmaceuticals. These are of 100 double bed mattress; 100 double size covers; 100 single blankets; 500 Perspex chairs; 500 mats; 1000 plates; buckets; basins; carafes; mostico net and lots of drugs that have been offered to the populations. In short, everything you need to restart again after the huge losses that the rains have caused them. The value of these donations in kind: 20 million FCFA. In addition, the First Lady Dominique Ouattara offered one million CFA to victims and toys for the kindergarten of Zegban, the poor neighborhood of Fresco where the majority of material losses have been recorded.
