The CNS trains 100 journalists and communication practitioners

Le CNS forme 100 journalistes et professionnels de la communication
The National Oversight Committee for actions against Exploitation, Trafficking and Child Labor (CNS) organizes from Thursday 08th to Friday9th, May, 2014 in Plateau, a training seminar for journalists and media men child labor. Indeed, it is a hundred journalists and communication specialists, coming from across the country who stormed the CGRAE UEMOA complex in Plateau, in the framework of this seminar. The opening ceremony chaired by First Lady Mrs. Dominique Ouattara was attended by Anne Desirée Ouloto , Minister of Solidarity , Family , Women and Children , also vice-president of Inter-ministerial Committee (CIM); Mrs. Bamba Affoussiata Lamine , Minister of Communications; Mrs. Kaba nial , Minister to the Prime Minister in charge of Finance.
 
The First Lady took advantage of this opportunity to invite media practitioners and journalists to get involved in the remediation process. "(… ) Help us stop child exploitation in our country, by explaining to our brothers and sisters in the cities and the countryside and to our parents who are farmers, the dangers to which they expose their children who are victims of exploitation. No sector is to be neglected. Whether in the field of mining; transport; agriculture and urban sector, " she argued, adding what follows: "Wherever our children are exploited, act! Your job gives you the power to change things. I know that thanks to your involvement, we will tip the balance in favor of of our children’s well-being and education. "Long before, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara praised the efforts of journalists in awareness-raising."Through personal initiatives and your dedication, you send alerts through the press, radio and television. These alerts have the effect of highlighting the reality of the worst forms of child labor in our country, so much so that today all Ivorians are sensitive to this issue," she praised.
