The tenth edition of the Francophone Film Festival of Angoulême is officially open since Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017.

In this summer period; where the rays of sunshine give color to the beautiful town of Angoulême, situated in the south of France, with its singular relief and Angoumoisins, or inhabitants of Angoulême, particularly friendly and warm; a myriad of stars, administrative and political personalities found themselves in the beautiful garden of a hotel complex in the city, for the traditional cocktail opening of the festival. Angoulême has nothing to envy in Cannes, the city has all its charm.

Under the flashes of the photographers and in the sights of the cameras, the First Lady, Dominique Ouattara, former French President, François Hollande, Mayor of Paris, Anne Hildago, actor John Malkovich, actresses Juliette Binoche, Catherine Deneuve, the presenter Claire Chazal etc. … Autographs, interviews, reunion. We're already in the movies.

Then the cape is put on the great theater of Angouleme (national scene), for the official opening ceremony. And here again Dominique Ouattara, is the special guest and Côte d'Ivoire, the country honored for this 10th edition.
