The First Lady of Nigeria and Mrs. Dominique Ouattara provide food and non-food items to children in the Nursery of Yopougon Attié

The First Lady of Nigeria, Mrs. Patience Jonathan Goodluck and Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of Côte d'Ivoire visited, on Saturday, March 2nd, 2013, the nursery of Yopougon Attié. On the sidelines of the state visit of 48 hours completed since last Friday, the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, in Côte d'Ivoire, the two ladies really wanted to join the useful to the pleasant, restoring smile for infants of this specialized center. As they are so good at it, it is with hands full of gifts they made the trip. Thus, they offered countless donations of food, non-food and cash for toddlers as well as staff of the nursery. In fact, they provided facilities, equipment, food, hygiene products for children, maintenance equipment for premises, medicine, medical equipment and many gifts to the children of the nursery. All these in-kind donations are estimated at twenty (20) million FCFA. In addition, they offered, cash, the sum of three (03) million CFAF, 1 million Franc for infants, 1 million Franc to the kindergarten, 500,000 Francs to the staff, and finally 500 000 Francs to traditional leaders who were present. The Fisrt Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Patience Jonathan Goodluck, on behalf of the Strengthening Peace Mission of Africa’s First Ladies, an association she chairs, offered 15 million F CFA to the nursery of Yopougon. In short, it's an avalanche of donations and gifts the infants of Yopougon-Attie received. These gifts embody the maternal love Mom and Dad Patience Jonathan Goodluck and Mrs. Dominique Ouattara for toddlers. Moreover, the children thanked their moms through ballets, songs and recitations to the delight of the public.
