During the audience, the new Ivorian champion expressed his thanks to the First Lady for her support for young people in general, and athletes in particular, including himself.

After the discussions, the wife of the Head of State congratulated her guest on his new title. She also took advantage of the occasion to give him some advice on the next steps in his career.

“I came to express my thanks to the First Lady. As the World Champion, it was important for me to come and thank the First Lady for providing her support to young people, and to me as well. It was important to me. The First Lady didn’t hesitate. I’m very happy. I also took advantage of this audience to get her advice as a high-level athlete. I’m very satisfied with this meeting,” explained Mr. Cissé Cheik Salah.

In terms of new challenges, the World Champion said he intends to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. After that, he hopes to win the TaeKwonDo World Championship title once again.
