Mme Dominique Ouattara a offert la somme de 2 millions de F CFA aux enfants du village SOS

Mrs. Dominique Ouattara visited, Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 on the sidelines of the state visit in the Bélier region, the new SOS village of Yamoussoukro.

It was around 17h pm that Command Car of the underprivileged children Mom made its entry into the enclosure of the center. Inside, a hundred of children from the center in hedges to honor the illustrious visitor. For each of these children, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara will have a kind word. Then begins a tour of the new center for children.


This center will accommodate 7 children per family house. It consists of 12 family houses, giving a total of 84 children. The other particularity of this village is that it has been built for 0-6 years children, war orphans or victims of sexual abuse and emotional abuse during the war underwent by our country. In addition, the center has a multi-purpose center, a kindergarten, a primary school and a medical center. In short, it features all the amenities for the psycho-social development and the psycho-social care management for children.

She also offered F CFA 500,000 to the employees working the yard of the village.

The construction of Yamoussoukro SOS village began in July 2012.
