m\u00e9thodologie de l'enqu\u00eate 2018-2019 sur le Travail des Enfants dans les zones de production de cacao en C\u00f4te d'Ivoire qui a permis d'assoir\">The signing ceremony of this agreement comes after the holding of a validation workshop of the methodology of the 2018-2019 survey on Child Labor in cocoa production zones in C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire which allowed to sit down <\/span><span title=\"une m\u00e9thode d'enqu\u00eate consensuelle entre le CNS et NORC.\n\n\">a consensual investigation method between the CNS and NORC.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span title=\"Pour Madame Dominique Ouattara, Premi\u00e8re Dame de C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, la signature de ce protocole d\u2019accord permet d\u2019assoir une d\u00e9marche commune et consensuelle afin de prendre la pleine mesure du ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de travail des enfants dans les plantations de cacao.\">For Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire, the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding allows for a common and consensual approach to take full measure of the phenomenon of child labor in cocoa plantations. <\/span><span title=\"\u00ab Il s\u2019agit de la troisi\u00e8me enqu\u00eate financ\u00e9e par l\u2019USDOL.\">&#8220;This is the third survey funded by the USDOL. <\/span><span title=\"A travers cet accord, les partenaires conviennent de travailler conjointement sur tous les aspects de la m\u00e9thodologie de l\u2019enqu\u00eate et d\u2019apporter leur expertise commune \u00e0 chacune des \u00e9tapes.\">Through this agreement, the partners agree to work together on all aspects of the survey methodology and to bring their common expertise to each step. <\/span><span title=\"Je me r\u00e9jouis de la signature de cet accord de coop\u00e9ration, qui permettra d\u2019impliquer nos experts nationaux dans cette enqu\u00eate, tout en respectant les normes internationales en vigueur \u00bb, a-t-elle not\u00e9.\">I welcome the signing of this cooperation agreement, which will involve our national experts in this survey, while respecting international standards, &#8220;she noted. <\/span><span title=\"Pour la Pr\u00e9sidente du CNS, cette enqu\u00eate permettra d\u2019\u00e9valuer tous les efforts r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par la Cote d\u2019Ivoire en vue d\u2019\u00e9liminer le travail des enfants.\">For the President of the CNS, this survey will assess all efforts made by Cote d&#8217;Ivoire to eliminate child labor. <\/span><span title=\"Toutefois, elle a invit\u00e9 toutes les parties prenantes \u00e0 tenir compte des normes ivoiriennes particuli\u00e8rement les deux arr\u00eat\u00e9s autorisant les enfants dont l\u2019\u00e2ge varie entre 13 et 16 ans, \u00e0 effectuer des travaux l\u00e9gers dit socialisants.\">However, it urged all stakeholders to take into account Ivorian norms, particularly the two decrees authorizing children between the ages of 13 and 16, to perform so-called socializing work. <\/span><span title=\"L\u2019\u00e9pouse du chef de l\u2019Etat a indiqu\u00e9 que cet accord va \u00e9galement obtenir une repr\u00e9sentation plus fid\u00e8le de la pr\u00e9valence des enfants victimes de cette situation.\">The wife of the head of state said that this agreement will also get a more faithful representation of the prevalence of children victims of this situation. <\/span><span title=\"\u00ab Les recherches, ses conclusions et recommandations, pourront ainsi nous aider \u00e0 orienter nos campagnes de sensibilisation en direction des parents, afin de leur expliquer que les enfants sont autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 faire des travaux l\u00e9gers dits socialisants et non des travaux dangereux qui mettent en p\u00e9ril leur\">&#8220;The research, its findings and recommendations, will help us to guide our awareness campaigns to parents, to explain to them that children are allowed to do light work called socializing and not dangerous work that endanger their child. <\/span><span schools in the cocoa zones. <\/span><span title=\"Ajoutant que des campagnes de sensibilisation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es au profit des populations concernant la lutte contre les pires formes de travail des enfants.\">Adding that awareness-raising campaigns have been conducted for the benefit of the people regarding the fight against the worst forms of child labor. <\/span><span title=\"La coop\u00e9ration sous r\u00e9gionale renforc\u00e9e avec la signature de plusieurs accords sous r\u00e9gionaux.\n\n\">Sub-regional cooperation strengthened with the signing of several sub-regional n\u00e9cessaire d\u2019aider les enfants \u00e0 s\u2019\u00e9panouir.\n\n\">According to Kevin Hong, International Relations Officer at the United States Department of Labor (USDOL), there is a need to help children flourish.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span title=\"Quant \u00e0 Davide Mosby, chef de la section Politique et Economique de l\u2019Ambassade des Etats Unis d\u2019Am\u00e9rique en C\u00f4te
