I am particularly pleased to be with you today to celebrate the inauguration of Daoukro blood transfusion center. Thank you all for the warm welcome you have given us, I am very touched.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, First and foremost, I would like to convey to you the greetings of my dear husband, President Alassane Ouattara, who me asked to enquire about your condition and greet you warmly.
I would also pay tribute to my dear sister, Madame Henriette Konan BEDIE.

As you know, my big sister, has always shown great affection for me. She fights with her Foundation Servir to help the underprivileged and I would like to thank her very much.
Bid dear sister, I beg you to convey my respectful greetings to our elder, President Henri Konan BEDIE. I would like you to applaud her loudly.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would like to this moment of great opportunity to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to Mrs. the Minister of Health and the Fight against AIDS and all the authorities of Daoukro city to have associated me, as Godmother in this ceremony of high social significance.
Dear Minister, Be once more thanked for soliciting President Alassane Ouattara, through the President’s Emergency Program (PPU), the construction and equipping of a center for Blood Transfusion here in Daoukro. Indeed, this act strongly willed by the President of the Republic and President Henri Konan by BEDIE, marks our shared commitment to invest in LIFE, and in the FUTURE and DEVELOPMENT in the region of the Iffou. Because how much workforce, how many mothers following a postpartum hemorrhage and how many children with severe anemia have not died from the lack of blood in the hospital? Today, thanks to the opening of this beautiful blood transfusion center, which is modern and equipped with adequate advanced equipment, we have the opportunity to bring quick relief and give LIFE in the most anonymous and more altruistic way possible to all those thousands of men, young mothers and children whose LIFE hangs on a single thread: our blood donation.

Yes, this beautiful Blood Transfusion Center, which is created now, allow sour parents and all those who live here Daoukro and in surrounding communities to be exempt from long journeys often dangerous, to obtain a blood bag.

However, the Blood Transfusion Centre can fully play its role only if voluntary un-paid blood donations are made regularly.
It’s a simple action that will not cost you anything, just a few minutes of your time, but it will save lives. Lives of children, women, parents, persons you encounter every day.
Dear Parents,
In conclusion, I would like to provide every encouragement to all the health care staff of the Iffou, andin particular to the staff of the new Blood Transfusion Center.

Thank you for the efforts they will make to accommodate populations in the best conditions and thus contribute to the blood donation”A SIMPLE GESTURE THAT SAVES LIVES!”
Thank you.
DOMINIQUE OUATTARA
