The achievements and accomplishments of Children Of Africa
The honor fell to Nadine Sangaré, Director of the Children Of Africa Foundation, to present the achievements and accomplishments of Children Of Africa. According to her there is a desire to highlight the richness of Afric. She also recalled the infrastructures that the Foundation had been able to build during previous Gala Dinners. These include the Mother and Child Hospital in Bingerville, the Children Of Africa Excellence School Group in Abobo, the three Welcome Centers in Soubré, Bouaké and Ferkessédougou, the Welcome Center for Women Victims of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and the reconstruction of the Children’s Hut. For this new project, Mrs Nadine Sangaré indicated that the Bingerville hospital remains the best hospital to host this new pediatric surgery department, given its proven performance and reputation. For Ms. Sangaré, the opening of this new department is a boost for cardiology, and will enable children with heart disease to be treated in Côte d’Ivoire from now on.
Mr. Hachim Diop, General Manager of the Bingerville Mother and Child Hospital, presented the new Children Of Africa Foundation project. According to Mr. Diop, after more than 70 international medical missions, ISO 9001 certification and APHP Gold certification for quality and safety of care, the MCH has reached a level of technical maturity enabling it to develop new responses for the most fragile patients. In addition, according to Dr. Ouattara, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara chose to focus on cardiovascular diseases, which is killing too many children in the country, but also in the sub-region. “For this project to be successful, we have decided to enter into partnership with Chaîne de l’Espoir”, explained Hachim Diop, CEO of the Bingerville Mother and Child Hospital.
