The First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, received a delegation from the Catholic Church led by the Apostolic Nuncio Mgr. Mauricio Rueda Beltz, on Wednesday January 17, 2024, at her Residence.

Audience: Our Lady of Peace International Foundation of Yamoussoukro at the First Lady’s residence
Bishop Mauricio Rueda Beltz was accompanied by Bishop Jean Salomon Lézoutié, Bishop of the Diocese of Yopougon and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fondation.
The discussions focused the Fondation’s activities. It is important to recall that the Lady of Peace International Foundation is responsible for managing the Basilica and the Joseph Moscati Hospital in Yamoussoukro.
The First Lady congratulated the Foundation for its actions to promote the well-being of the population. Mrs Dominique Ouattara was also particularly pleased with the good results presented by Dr. Ombretta Pasoti, Director of the Joseph Moscati Hospital. The latter pointed to all the efforts made by the Government of Côte d’Ivoire to enable this health facility to function effectively. She took the opportunity to express her their gratitude to the President.
The First Lady, Mrs Dominique Ouattara, visited the hospital in February 2023.
The delegation, which also included Deacon Cesary Czerwinski Sac, Treasurer General of the Lady of Peace International Foundation, left satisfied with the audience.
